to let (somebody) do (something): 让(某人)做(某事) verb
My mother would never let me go to the party. 我的母亲从来不让我参加聚会。
I'll let you think about our offer. 我让你考虑一下我们的报价。

  • "I'll let you get to know your new friends, Jermaine."
  • "I'll let you choose."
  • "Look, I'll let you drive my car, and I'll take you to lunch before the operation."
