to hurt: 伤害、使痛苦 verb
I hurt myself. 我伤着自己了。
Does it hurt? 你痛吗?

This is an irregular verb:
I hurt / I hurt / I have hurt
to get hurt: 受到伤害
(a bit of exercise) wouldn't hurt (you!): 多(锻炼)对(你)有好处! idiom
hurt: 疼痛、伤害 noun

UK: I hurt my leg skiing.
US: Is it still hurting? I can kick it if you like, to see.
